Dog Obedience Training At Home With Some Easy Steps
Dog Training At Home
Wondering if your dog could behave the way dogs on T.V. do? Some of the dogs that become a part of some movie or a show are highly trained by the professionals and everybody knows that these professionals are best in their job. Do you always get sad when you see dogs at your nearest dog obedience schools behaving better than your dog? But hey, do you know that you can give such training at home as well?
Dog obedience training can be done at home itself, without sending your dog to any school. I would say that the best training can be given at home only, by the dog owner itself. But in order to start training your dogs at home, you should consider re-thinking about some myths.
Below are some myths that are believed by many of the people. I strongly recommend you to see these points and think for yourself.
*Older dogs are not ideal for training. Truth: I personally have observed that older dogs are easy to obedience train as they have developed body, their mind is developed and fully nourished to learn new things. They could understand things better.
*Obedience training is done better when treats are involved. Treat of course is good as a reward, but when trainings are concerned they can prove to be a hurdle.
*Discipline is required to train the dog: Discipline would surely give you a trained dog but this dog would live his life in fear. Don't think that the dog will do whatever you say happily if it's been trained in a much disciplined schedules. Dog will only obey you due to the fear.
Training your dog about obedience is not difficult, provided you follow few things. Stop believing in myths for a better trained dog.
